Hi Everyone. So who’s ready for Thanksgiving? I’m sure not. My family made somewhat last minute plans to celebrate it at my Grandma’s in Brooklyn, and I’m embarassed to admit 70% of the meal will be catered.
I mean I’m sure it’ll still be good(ish), but I love cooking for my family and wish I didn’t have to sit this one out. Work has been busy. Very busy. And it will continue to be until quite late on Thanksgiving’s eve. And then there’s my life on the side and other work I’ve been involved with, so my poor blog is being a little ignored too. Not to mention, I still have a couple dozen hours of programming and marketing research to get Brina’s Bites up to speed! Oh boy.
Well enough about me and enough complaining. Let’s focus on food now. I’ve compiled a list of some of my favorite fall recipes which would be great for Thanksgiving, albeit untraditional. There are a few potato dishes, vegetable sides, desserts and even a day-after-Thanksgiving breakfast option. I hope you enjoy these recipes and more importantly the holiday. Happy Thanksgiving 🙂
